Jeff De Cagna FRSA FASAE, chief strategist and founder of Principled Innovation LLC, has been elected to the American Tinnitus Association (ATA) Board of Directors. ATA, located in Portland, Oregon, exists to cure tinnitus through the development of resources that advance tinnitus research. Tinnitus is the medical term for the perception of sound in one or both ears or in the head when no external sound is present. 50 million Americans experience tinnitus to some degree. Of these, about 16 million have severe enough tinnitus to seek medical attention, and about two million patients are so seriously debilitated that they cannot function on a “normal,” day-to-day basis.
“ATA is extremely pleased to add Jeff De Cagna’s invaluable experience and original insights on business model innovation and future-focused stewardship to our leadership team. I’m confident Jeff will make an important contribution to the work of the ATA Board of Directors,” said Michael Malusevic, ATA’s executive director.
In addition to his service on the ATA Board, Jeff also serves as a director and Board vice chair of RedRover, a national organization that focuses on bringing animals out of crisis and strengthening the bond between people and animals. Jeff also served on the board of directors of ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership from September 2007 through August 2010.
