Help me map the association blogosphere!
August 2nd, 2009
The first association community BloggerCon took place at ASAE & The Center’s Annual Meeting in Nashville in 2005. If memory serves, there were about 10 people in attendance, and only 3 or 4 of us were active bloggers.
Fast forward to 2009 and there are vastly more association executives, business partners and consultants regularly blogging on the issues facing our community. As one of the early bloggers, I am delighted with the growth in our ranks, and I thought this would be a good time to build a visual representation of how we got to this point.
So, if you’re an association community blogger, I urge you to complete the very brief form I have created to collect information. The form can be found at the following URL:
http://tinyurl.com/associationcommunitybloggers
Please note that we are collecting information only on bloggers who write about associations and the association community, not associations that are blogging. If you can complete the form before the end of the month, that would be great. My hope is to have a map ready to share next month.
