This Tuesday and Wednesday, I will be in New York, contributing to the blogging effort at the World Innovation Forum. I’m very excited to be collaborating with a great group of innovation bloggers, some of whom I already know, and others I’m looking forward to meeting for the first time.
The line-up of speakers for the event is equally impressive, featuring thought leaders such as Clay Christensen, CK Prahalad and Paul Saffo. I’m looking forward to the presentations and the conversations they will spark, both at the event and on Twitter. Since I don’t really enjoy “live blogging,” I’ll be “live tweeting” instead. Follow #wif09 for the latest updates, and expect some blog posts/podcasts from me as well.
I’m pleased to see at least a few associations among the WIF pre-registrants, and I plan to seek out their representatives during the event to gauge reactions to the speakers, and get responses to my 24 Hours of Innovation question:
What should we be doing to make innovation a more significant strategic priority in associations and in our community as a whole?
Check out the WIF agenda, and post any thoughts you have (soon!) about what you’d like me to tweet/blog about during the gathering. I value your input, and I look forward to sharing some of the World Innovation Forum experience with all of you!
