Getting ready for Great Ideas 2009
February 16th, 2009
This week, like many of you, I’ll be getting ready to head to Miami for ASAE & The Center’s Great Ideas Conference! I’m really looking forward to partnering once again with my good friend and colleague, Jamie Notter, on our session, I Wanna Go Back: Leadership Lessons from 80s Music, which we will present on Monday, February 23. If you’re looking for a fun and slightly unconventional learning opportunity, Jamie and I really hope you’ll be a part of our session.
In anticipation of the conference, I thought I would re-post my 2008 podcasts with this year’s Great Ideas keynote speakers, Back of the Napkin author Dan Roam and Life Is a Verb author Patti Digh. If you’re going to be in Miami, you can prepare for the keynote sessions by listening to these podcasts. If your plans don’t include this year’s Great Ideas, I hope these two interviews will give you at least a sense of the experience.
Dan Roam (approximately 53 minutes long)
Patti Digh (approximately 32 minutes long)
For those of you who are around on Saturday night, February 21, I hope you’ll consider joining us for “Miami Vice…YAP Style,” which promises to be the greatest YAP party yet! Principled Innovation LLC is one of three official sponsors of this very special event.
I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at the conference. Please leave a comment below if you’ll be there so I can look for you. Travel safely one and all.
