Future thinking resources
February 16th, 2009
Just wanted to extend my thanks to ASAE & The Center staff member Nancy Matthes for recommending a couple of my articles as resources for future thinking in this month’s Associations Now magazine. I am especially flattered because Nancy actually suggests two of my favorites:
“The Next Traditions of Association 3.0” (March 2008 issue of Associations Now)
“Beyond Pretend and Defend” (August 2004 issue of Executive Update)
If I were to suggest one more article to complete this trifecta, it would be “The Ungovernance Model” from the August 2007 issue of Associations Now. I hope you’ll check out all three of these articles, and let me know what you think of them.
Also, let’s not forget the recently-released Association Social Technologies Report is still available at the discounted price of $99 until March 1. If your association is currently using social technologies, or thinking about using them. you’ll want to take a look at this report. It’s a great resource that I think you’ll find quite useful.
