FF3 Download Day
June 17th, 2008
If you’re not already using the totally awesome Firefox browser, today is a right day to get started. June 17 is Firefox 3 Download Day, and we are attempting to set a Guinness World Record for most software downloaded in 24 hours. You can be a part of it!
Above you see a very simple download clock for time zones around the world. In the continental U.S., you can begin downloading at 1 pm EDT, 10 am PDT.
Read more about Firefox 3 Download Day on the BBC website, and be sure to make your pledge to download the browser in the next 24 hours. So far, more than 1.5 million people worldwide have already committed to the effort!
If you’re still not convinced (HBJN), read more about Firefox 3 and find out why it is such a fantastic browser. Once you start using FF, you’ll never want to use IE again!
