					<description>Jeff,

My first time here at you blog and have enjoyed tremendously your posts. I´m approaching 40 myself. With all the knowledge and advances on the functioning of the human body, 40 is definitely the new 30, but obviously it all depends on one´s lifestyle choices.

Happy Birthday and I look forward to reading your future posts.

<description>As a current 40-year-young'n, I welcome you! 40 is where we have learned so much about life and are now able to apply that knowledge to our careers, relationships, and for some to children.

Thanks to all sorts of technologies and innovatiions, 40 is no longer an age to dread. And it shouldn't be. Each decade has its own precious attributes and learning curves. I, for one, would not want to go back to my teens, 20's, or 30's. I've made my choices and in my 40's am learning to live with those choices in harmony.

I turn 41 in 10 days and I say...bring it on! The fact that you feel you are leading a meaningful life and have learned much from your family and friends means that you are paying attention, Jeff. Not everyone can say that.

Happy couple-of-weeks-late birthday wishes!</description>

<description>It only gets better so don't resist the wisdom and freedom made available by the passing of the decades! With an attitude of gratitude and the spirit of adventure by your side, there is a whole new realm out there yet to be discovered! Enjoy the journey!

					<description>Happy Birthday Jeff

40 is the new 60 or maybe even 90 in the tech and inovation field.

http://www.geritol.com/ may help some but since you can not join AARP yet you will have to pay full price.

Your options are limitless though, you can start book your self as a statesman, and a man with experience. As well as start using lines like back in my time, or we never had these fancy gadgits when I was growing up.

You can start working on your family tree, and going to the mall to walk.

You still can't get the really good discounts at Luby's and the Craker Barrel yet.

Happy Birthday

<description>Not sure we need to define 40 in any relation to any other age. It is what it is, and regardless of what it is, I certainly hope it is nowhere close to the end for you. That would be a HUGE loss for the association community and world. (And honestly, it would kind of freak me out since we're on the same flight tomorrow.)

Enjoy the day. May the coming years be filled with at least as much wonder, discoveries, opportunities, and success as the ones past.

Happy Birthday!
