Thanks SNAP!
February 27th, 2008
I’m getting ready to head out of town tomorrow, so I just want to say a quick thanks to everyone involved in today’s SNAP Lunch & Learn session on association blogging. Thanks Amy, Lisa, Kevin, Ben and, of course, everyone who attended! It was great fun, and I hope if anyone has questions, you’ll follow-up.
Listen to Ben’s mobile audio post on today’s session. All I can say is amen.
Also, I will mention again the Association Social Media Wiki, which has links to various social media sites created by associations. It’s a very useful resource.
If you're new here, I hope you will consider subscribing to the P.I. Blog. Just click on this link to add it to your RSS reader. You can also receive e-mail updates by subscribing via the box located on the blog itself. Thanks for visiting!

I thought for sure I’d get chastised again for taking photographs in a moving car. Kevin, Jeff and Lisa: It was a pleasure being on the panel with you.

Ben, it was a pleasure working with you too! And thanks as well to Jeff (and Kevin) for being part of the panel. You all did a fantastic job.
(Ben, was your car moving when you took that picture? I assumed you were stopped in traffic.)

Hi, Jeff…couldn’t figure out how to add a listing to the Association Social Media Wiki, so wanted to make sure you were aware of the work that was being done by PAMA/SAE Institute (http://www.pama.org).
What they’re doing with the JetBlast! Network ( http://haystack.cerado.com/html/view.php?h=744 ) as a community to connect up the members who are pushing the envelope with respect to aviation maintenance is pretty outstanding.
best,
c
