Also, the Society of National Association Publications (SNAP) is running its 2008 EXCEL Awards, and this year, the program includes awards for blogs, podcasts and wikis. If your association would like to be recognized for its excellent use of social media, you have until this Friday, February 29 to submit your application and materials. Don’t miss this opportunity to pick up some hardware…;>)
I’m also pleased to announce that I will be writing a new column for Association Publishing, SNAP’s official magazine, on how to transform association publications from containers for information to platforms for engagement. The column, which will be called “The Social Medium,” will appear for the first time in the May/June issue of Association Publishing.
