Association Innovation Boot Camp-October 4 in SF
September 18th, 2007
Just a quick post to let everyone know that I will be presenting an Association Innovation Boot Camp on Thursday, October 4 in San Francisco. The event is a joint effort of ASAE & The Center and the Northern California Network. If you live in the region, are just passing through or are interested enough to make the journey to Cali just for the session, the participation of association executives and other community members is very much welcomed. It should be a fun day!
The focus of this Boot Camp is on keeping innovation simple by asking three fundamental questions:
- What radical ideas can we develop that will create distinctive new value for members and customers?
- How can we talk about these ideas with others in the organization in ways that will decrease resistance and increase passion and buy-in?
- What kind of plan do we need to develop and implement an experiment that will allow us to determine the viability of our ideas?
To learn more or to register, simply visit the ASAE & The Center site. FYI, I am a member of The Center for Association Leadership Board of Directors, and I am not compensated for sessions that I present for the organization. I truly hope I’ll see you there!
