WARNING: Do not accept invitations to Quechup!

I recently received an invitation to the social networking tool Quechup from none other than ultracool blogger Hugh MacLeod. If Hugh sent it to me, I figured, why not accept it? Then I saw a post on Euan Semple’s blog about how Quechup had spammed his address book. For whatever reason, I didn’t think about taking immediate action to cancel my membership, and today, without my involvement, Quechup spammed my entire Gmail address book.
Like Euan, I am so sorry to everyone who received one of these bogus invitations, and all I can tell you is to delete it if you received one. Just like Hugh and Euan, I got duped.

Yes, I too inadvertently registered with Quechup, thinking it was the forum in which we might discuss the predominant and increasingly outdated system of association governance with Jeff De Cagna and others. Alas, my wife insisted that I immediately unsubscribe. However, I remain eager to pursue the aforementioned topic.
