Taken from a local chapter newsletter. I am a member of both the chapter and the national organization.
I’m thinking that I don’t need to answer my own question.

Yeah, when you get elected to office, you’re supposed to start doing stuff according to the strategic plan.

Not the best way to get volunteers. Still, you have to admit there are lots of people out there who prefer to complain rather than actually contribute, and the volunteers running the show feel this keenly.
