Need your “best” strategic planning stories!

Jamie and I are working on an e-book on strategy and we need your “best” strategic planning stories. We’re looking for the most mind-numbing, horrifying, ridiculous and this-would-be-funny-if-it-weren’t-so-sad stories you can share with us. We would appreciate any salient details you can provide, but please change all names to protect the guilty…er, uh, I mean the innocent.
You can e-mail your stories to me directly or you can post them below. If possible, we would appreciate your reply by next Monday, June 18. I’ve also posted a mock-up of our book cover above. Please give us your feedback on it!
