Sometimes, there are no answers…

Ben asks why. It is hard to accept, but sometimes there simply are no answers. No matter how hard we reach for it, senseless tragedy defies rational explanation.
I came very close to attending a doctoral program at Virginia Tech’s Northern Virginia campus. Had I pursued the program, I would be an alumnus of the university. In addition, I am a proud resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia and a citizen of the United States.
I am shocked. I am horrified. I am grieving.
