Experience The Forum Effect!
March 19th, 2007

Today, Association Forum of Chicagoland is launching its new Annual Meeting blog called The Forum Effect. The Association Forum Annual Meeting will take place on June 19 at Navy Pier, and the theme is “Innovation and Improvisation.” Frans Johansson, author of the very popular innovation book, The Medici Effect, is the meeting’s keynote speaker.
It will be my great pleasure to serve as the chief blogger for the Association Forum Annual Meeting. I’m sure you will enjoy participating in the conversation The Forum Effect is trying to create. As I wrote in the blog’s introductory post:
The Forum Effect blog is your connection to the fresh ideas and insights you need to lead your association in the years ahead. It is a open laboratory in which you can experiment with new ways of thinking about your work, and engage the collective expertise and experience of the Chicagoland association community! The Forum Effect is much more than a website or weblog. It is a learning space, a destination from which you can launch your association’s, or your own, next journey!
Of course, I will continue to post on the P.I. Blog while I’m blogging on The Forum Effect, although there may be periods of lighter posting as we get closer to the Association Forum Annual Meeting. I’m confident you’ll like what we have planned for The Forum Effect, and I hope you share your thoughts on what I’m posting in both places!
If you're new here, I hope you will consider subscribing to the P.I. Blog. Just click on this link to add it to your RSS reader. You can also receive e-mail updates by subscribing via the box located on the blog itself. Thanks for visiting!
