Coming Soon: Garage Memes
February 7th, 2007
Last month, I wrote about the need to bring more “garage thinking” into the association community. In that spirit, I am going to start posting a series of what I’m calling “garage memes.” Garage memes are dangerous ideas designed to undermine support for the association community’s status quo and provoke new thinking about what is possible. If this works out right, you’ll read my garage memes, starting talking about them with your colleagues and, in time, they will spread across our community.
I will post my first two garage memes on Monday in anticipation of ASAE & The Center’s Technology Conference. If you want to share any of your potential garage memes with me, just post them as comments below.
