Five years and counting…
February 1st, 2007
Principled Innovation LLC was founded five years ago today, i.e., I use this date as the company’s official founding date. (It was legally formed in the fall of 2001.) I don’t have time to celebrate this very important occasion at length since I’m about to leave for the airport, but I didn’t want the day to pass without mentioning it here.
Five years is an important milestone, one that was not achieved alone, and I want to single out Meeghan, my very wonderful wife, for her incredible love and support during this time. Besides me, Meg is the most important contributor to any success that P.I. has enjoyed over the last five years, and I am forever grateful to her for giving me the opportunity to do something very special in my life.
I don’t want to turn this into a rambling Academy Award-style speech, so let me just thank everyone who has been involved with P.I. in the last five years, including all of you. I truly value our association community, and the work I do within it, and I look forward to continuing to challenge our organizations to realize their full potential in the years ahead.
If you're new here, I hope you will consider subscribing to the P.I. Blog. Just click on this link to add it to your RSS reader. You can also receive e-mail updates by subscribing via the box located on the blog itself. Thanks for visiting!

Congratulations Jeff! I recall our conversations back when you were deciding your career direction, and I can’t believe it’s been five years. You obviously made the right decision, and the association community is benefiting greatly from your knowledge, commitment and passion!
