A gift of science
October 16th, 2006
The more I read about our society’s unfolding future, the more I realize the extent to which I must improve my understanding of science and scientific issues. I recognize that this will be a slow, on-going learning process for me, and I am certainly not alone in the need to pursue this new knowledge. Every citizen of the world–and certainly every leader of every organization–must strengthen his/her scientific literacy. Simply put, being well-informed about the myriad ways scientific advancement and discovery will shape our world in the years ahead is an element of our sacred responsibility to those we lead, and to our fellow human beings.
So, in the spirit of facilitating our new learning, I have put together a small collection of science-related RSS feeds for your reading and listening pleasure. I think they represent a good start, but if you have suggestions of feeds to add, please e-mail me.
If you're new here, I hope you will consider subscribing to the P.I. Blog. Just click on this link to add it to your RSS reader. You can also receive e-mail updates by subscribing via the box located on the blog itself. Thanks for visiting!
