Ann Oliveri enters the blogosphere!

October 1st, 2006

When I posted about seven association leaders who should blog back in June, I didn’t expect that any of them would jump into the blogosphere right away. But I’m pleased to say this morning that Ann Oliveri of the Urban Land Institute has become the latest association community blogger. If my little nudge had anything at all to do with it, I’m glad for all association leaders who will now have regular easy access to Ann’s powerful insights into what associations are and what they can be.

Ann’s new blog will be an ambitious exploration, as she describes it, of “the zen of associations.” It’s clear from the just first few posts that Ann will bring a fresh and unique perspective to her blogging. She is about to embark on an intriguing series of posts over the next ten days in which she will connect ASAE & The Center’s 7 Measures of Success report to Deepak Chopra’s Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. Talk about zen!

I can’t wait to see where Ann takes our conversations in the weeks and months ahead. The community of association bloggers, as well as the association community as a whole, will benefit mightily from Ann’s entry into the blogosphere. Welcome to the club, Ann, and congratulations on your decision to join the fun!  (Nice picture too.)
