P.I. Live! will happen on October 2 at 1 pm ET

Unfortunately, I experienced some unexpected technical difficulties when trying to launch the first segment of P.I. Live! this afternoon. To those of you who were trying to listen in and wondering what happened to me, there’s your answer. I am disappointed, frustrated but undaunted, and I believe I have figured out and corrected the problem.
So, we will try this again on Monday, October 2 at 1 pm EDT. (Click that link to get to the show.) The dial-in number remains the same: 347/996-5848. You do not need to dial-in in order to listen to the show (although you do need Windows Media Player), but it will be more fun it you do call me and we can chat! If you would like to submit questions or topics for the show ahead of time, just send me an e-mail.
I apologize for this little hiccup. It totally caught me off guard, but I am confident that we will be good to go on Monday. Thanks for your patience!

Jeff, for those of us interested in doing similar BlogTalkRadio shows, what were the technical difficulties that caused problems? Are there things to be aware of before airing? Good luck next week.

Matt, the technical difficulty had to do with my use of Skype as my phone service. BlogTalkRadio’s system was not recognizing my passcode and I was unable to access the system. But I have figured out what I need to do to address that issue, so this should not be a problem on Monday.
I’m please to learn that you’re interested in doing a show. I think it would be a great application for your association.
Be sure to make note of the time change for Monday’s show. It will be at 1 pm EDT, rather than 2 pm. It is a scheduling issue on my end that necessitated the change.
