Blogging at BIF-2 next week

I am very honored to be among the outstanding group of bloggers who will part of the blogjam at next week’s Business Innovation Factory (BIF-2) conference in Providence, Rhode Island. The conference, which is in its second year, will bring together some of the most prominent innovators and innovation thought leaders around, including Segway inventor Dean Kamen, The Medici Effect author Frans Johansson and Fast Company magazine co-founder Bill Taylor, just to name a few. Wall Street Journal technology columnist Walt Mossberg and TED conference founder Richard Saul Wurman will host this unique gathering, which is about storytelling and collaboration rather than the traditional presentation complete with slide deck.

In my capacity as a blogger, I feel as though I am representing the association community at this conference, and I hope to do it well. To the greatest extent possible, I will be blogging on both the blogjam site and here on P.I. Blog, including hopefully posting podcast interviews with some of the storytellers and perhaps even with other attendees. Check out the complete list of storytellers and let me know if you have any personal favorites from whom you’d like to hear in a podcast. I will do my best to get an brief interview with those people. I can’t guarantee anything, of course, but I will make every effort.

If you are interested in attending BIF-2, there may still be spaces available, so check out the registration page for more information.

If you're new here, I hope you will consider subscribing to the P.I. Blog. Just click on this link to add it to your RSS reader. You can also receive e-mail updates by subscribing via the box located on the blog itself. Thanks for visiting!
