Quick (and simple) post on simplicity
August 31st, 2006
Check out the excellent post on “Complicating simplicity” over at Signal vs. Noise. The last sentence of the post says it all: if you’re going to talk about simplicity, why not do it with words that are actually simple?

Amazon.com delivered my copy of MIT professor John Maeda’s new book, The Laws of Simplicity, which has just been released by MIT Press. I’ve only scanned it at this point, but I can already tell I am going to like it. Professor Maeda offers ten laws of simplicity, and many of them have profound implications for the association community. I’ll be blogging on the book and the ten laws very soon.
