I have my copy!

I drove up to Gaithersburg today to see Jamie Notter, my friend, business partner and co-author of We Have Always Done It That Way: 101 Things About Associations We Must Change, and he quite literally ran out of his house so he could hand me my copy of the book that we have just written with David Gammel, Mickie Rops and Amy Smith. He was very excited when he received our initial review copies yesterday, and I’m so excited that I had to put the cover up on my blog first! (Sorry guys if I’ve jumped the gun a little bit, but I just couldn’t help myself.) We self-published this book, and while there isn’t a big name imprint on the spine, I’m very proud to see my words in print in book form for the first time!

In the next two weeks leading up to my departure for ASAE & The Center’s Annual Meeting in Boston, I will post my top five favorite items from WHADITW on this blog. And if you’re going to be in Boston for the meeting, I hope you’ll ask us for a copy of the book to read and a cool ribbon to wear! By the way, you will be able to buy the book online very soon, so keep checking back here for updates and information.
