Association Bloggercon on August 20
July 31st, 2006
Ben Martin announced the date and time of the Association Bloggercon in Boston next month. It will take place on August 20 at 12:30 pm somewhere at the Boston Convention Center. We’ll have location details ASAP.
If you’re at all interested in social media, and particularly blogging, I urge you to attend this informal gathering. You don’t have to have to write a blog to join us. We can all learn from one another about how social media can connect us and our organizations to the global online conversation. I look forward to seeing many PI Blog readers there! If you do plan to attend, please say so in a comment below.
Let me also take this opportunity to remind you that I track the use of social media in associations on the Association Community Blogs and Podcasts Wiki. If you’re aware of any associations using social media (including your own) please visit the wiki and add them. I’m trying to develop a comprehensive list so our community has a rich resource in this area. If anyone reading this blog works at one of the associations listed on the wiki, please feel free annotate your organization’s listing(s) so we can get even more relevant information. Thanks!
