RSS feeds now available on Wikipedia entries

July 14th, 2006

Thanks to Chris Anderson (via Steve Rubel) for pointing out that RSS feeds are now available on all Wikipedia entries. Click on the history tab at the top of a page and you will see links for both RSS and Atom feeds in the toolbox on the left side of the page. You don’t need to be logged in to get the feeds.

By providing a feed, you can now track changes to any entry that interests you. I have already signed up for the Google and innovation feeds, and I’ll be selecting a few others to monitor as well. If your association has an entry in Wikipedia (and, btw, if you don’t, what the heck are you waiting for?), you can now have changes pushed to you instead of using the watchlist.

This is a great addition to an already very useful resource. I encourage you to take advantage of it.

If you're new here, I hope you will consider subscribing to the P.I. Blog. Just click on this link to add it to your RSS reader. You can also receive e-mail updates by subscribing via the box located on the blog itself. Thanks for visiting!
