Learning about buzz
June 26th, 2006
I’m up in Bethesda today and tomorrow, attending ASAE & The Center’s Marketing and Membership Conference, learning about word of mouth marketing, generational issues in membership and related topics. I’m here, in part, to support the “unsession” efforts of my friends and colleagues, David Gammel and Ben Martin, who will be facilitating tomorrow.
I’ll share some thoughts about the learning along the way. The conference has very good attendance, even with the horrendous weather we had last night in the DC area which wreaked havoc with the morning commute.
One observation: it is nice to show up at a conference focused on learning. I’m enjoying that experience very much, especially after a very busy travel month.
