I try never to forget

May 29th, 2006

I try never to forget that the freedom that makes it possible for me to write this blog–and for you to read it–is defended everyday by the incredibly brave American military men and women serving around the world who choose to put their lives on the line so we can lead the lives we choose. I am inspired and humbled by their extraordinary selflessness, patriotism and courage.

All Americans owe a debt of gratitude to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. On this Memorial Day, I hope we will all pause to honor them.
