TDOB#9: Podcast frustration
May 22nd, 2006
Late last night, I recorded a podcast to post here. After several unsuccessful attempts to post it, I gave up, which explains why there was no TDOB post yesterday. This morning, thinking that the problem might be in my file, I re-recorded my podcast, but I am still unable to post it. I am enormously frustrated by this technology failure and even more vexed by the fact that I cannot figure out the problem. Compounding my frustration are the limitations on my time today, as I prepare to head out this afternoon to participate in exciting workshop that I talk about on the podcast. (I’ll post about it soon.)
So, you could say that it has been a bad morning.
I will keep working on the problem and I will post a podcast for you soon. It probably won’t be this week, however, and so I ask for your patience in this regard. Part of the challenge I’m facing is the fact that I’m working with new computer equipment and a new Internet connection and so I don’t have a track record of issues to draw on as possible solutions to the problem. Everything should be working properly, but it isn’t and that just gets under my skin. But while I may have lost this battle with my technology tools, trust me when I tell you that I will not lose the war!
