TDOB #8: Another big announcement in the works
May 20th, 2006
Meeghan and I went to see The Da Vinci Code today. I did not read the book (although I have a paperback floating around that I may read on my next vacation) but I still enjoyed the movie. Meg did read the book and loved it. She liked the movie as well, and remarked that reading the book really enhanced her enjoyment. There were aspects of the plot that I found a little implausible and, no, I won’t say which because I have no intention of taking this blog in that direction at all. Let me just that I have found the recent hype around the movie a bit overwrought, and leave it at that. Regardless of all that other stuff, it’s a movie worth seeing.
Anyway, speaking of hype, I thought I would use TDOB to do a little hype for my next big announcement, coming in early June. There will be no clues this time either. You’ll just have to guess at what I am planning. I am very hopeful, however, that this announcement won’t disappoint a certain important member of The Blogoclump who was underwhelmed the last time. I think this one is pretty cool and very much in keeping with my commitment to innovation. I’ll keep you posted on when you can look for something here on the blog. In the meantime, I suggest catching a good movie this weekend!
Okay, okay. One clue: Meg and I ARE NOT moving to Austin.
